The theatre segment of Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Company(Actor’s Rep.) will be named in honor of the late performer Bhetty Waldron, Bob Carter announced this past Saturday.

Dedication events and ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15.

Bhetty, a much-revered local professional actress, teacher, Toastmaster and playwright, passed away in 2004 at age 63.

Carter said Bhetty grew up in Palm Beach County, left for professional training and TV and movie roles and returned to give back her talent and experience to others. “She helped many people of all ages to get established in the performing arts and touched many hearts on stage.

She had founded and run the Quest Theatre, and now we have one with her name on it.”

Dedication events will begin Saturday, April 14 with a 2 p.m.
